“…Yoga, in its essence is intended to be a community-oriented pursuit. Just as we join together the body, mind and spirit through the practice of yoga, we can join together as individuals of like mind and heart when we practice.” (Sell, 124)*

We live in a society that values independence, and where a quick smile and “small talk” have become the norm. However, many people continue to yearn for deeper connections and authenticity in their relationships. What makes Invisible Bee Yoga truly special is its commitment to providing a warm and accepting atmosphere that fosters a sense of community. At its best, a community can help mirror back to us our greatness, and lift us higher than we ever thought was possible on our own. The Invisible Bee Yoga community is one of acceptance, encouragement, authenticity and connection.

The Sanskrit word kula describes a community with whom we find sanctuary, and is interpreted to mean “the family of the heart.” The Invisible Bee Yoga kula is open to anyone who is looking to gain a deeper connection with others and within themselves. Check the website frequently for updates on the events.

Yoga Nidra Workshop

Sunday February 26th
4-5PM
with  Amy

Tap into greater wholeness and well being with yoga nidra.

Yoga nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state of conscious deep relaxation beyond the waking and dreaming states. It is practiced in a comfortable, reclined position and participants are guided into a state of relaxation to consciously access the deepest intelligence of their own true nature.  A single hour of yoga nidra has been shown to be as restful and refreshing as four hours of conventional sleep.
In addition, yoga nidra can be beneficial for reducing stress, inducing physical and emotional relaxation, promoting healing and improving conditions such as insomnia, migraines and hypertension.

"We use yoga nidra to investigate and go beyond our limiting beliefs and conditioning, so that we may live a contented life, free of conflict, anxiety, fear, and suffering. And, in its ultimate form, we use yoga nidra to unravel the mystery and reveal the secret of enlightenment." Richard Miller Ph.D.

This class is appropriate for everyone.
No previous yoga or meditation experience is necessary.
